Susan Kim, M.D. Dr. Kim graduated cum laude with high honors in biochemistry from Smith College. She then received her medical doctor degree from the University of Washington and continued her medical internship and dermatology residency/fellowship at the University of Washington. She is still active at the University as a clinical instructor and teaches medical students, medical residents, and dermatology residents both in her office and at the University of Washington Medical Center. Dr. Kim is board certified in general dermatology and has a special interest in melanoma and other skin cancers. She is currently involved in melanoma research at the University of Washington. Dan Lantz, M.D. Dr. Lantz received his B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Washington in 1977. He graduated from the University of Washington with his M.D. degree in 1981, and interned at Maricopa Hospital in Phoenix in 1982. Dr. Lantz completed his dermatology residency at the University of Washington in 1986, and completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver in 1987. He currently practices dermatology at Lake Washington Dermatology in Kirkland and dermatopathology at Dermatopathology Northwest in Bellevue. He is a clinical professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine where he teaches skin pathology to dermatology residents. Michael Piepkorn, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Piepkorn received his medical education at the University of Minnesota. Residency training in Pathology and Dermatology followed at the University of Washington. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, dermatology, and dermatopathology. He has a special interest in melanoma and atypical nevi (moles). Dr. Piepkorn is currently on sabbatical. Hao Wang, M.D., Ph.D. After receiving his medical doctor degree from the University of California San Francisco, Dr. Wang did his internship at Stanford University Medical Center, and completed his dermatology residency/fellowship at the University of Washington. Dr. Wang has extensive research background in melanoma, Kaposi's sarcoma, and HIV disease. He received his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Wang is board certified in dermatology. He is a member of American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Wang is a clinical assistant professor and teaches dermatology residents and medical students at the University of Washington. Dr. Wang specializes in treating skin, nail, and hair disorders with special interest in skin cancer surgeries. Dr. Wang also offers Botox and Restylane for treating facial lines and wrinkles, and sclerotherapy for treating spider veins.
